“Life is walking the high wire with no net; everything else is just waiting around.”
— Karl Wallenda
At 11 years of age, catalyzed by an epiphany he experienced while recovering from a broken leg, Robert began seeking answers to such perennially pivotal questions as: Who am I? What is real? How shall I live?
These questions are the doorways to a truly authentic life. But they cannot be answered in any specific formula or prescription. One must find the answers for oneself, through contemplation, self-inquiry, meditation, and through the action of mindful living.
Conversations on the High Wire, which Robert has been offering for more than 30 years, are unscripted, unrehearsed, playfully free-wheeling gatherings in which to ask these, and other, questions so as to explore and discover, each for him- or herself, an authentic life. Participants are always encouraged to ask specific questions and suggest topics of interest and relevance to their lives.
These Conversations stimulate the silent awareness beyond language and thought, where we experience deeper levels of knowing, feeling, and acting; where we come upon our own embodied wisdom, authentic presence, and creative power.
In these Conversations, people find and rely upon their own strength and clarity, their own confidence and courage, and their own path and purpose. Robert’s facilitation of these Conversations is based on this: “Don’t be fooled by the abstractions of your head; engage and express. Life is a game for action figures. You’ve got to live your life, speak your truth, find out what you want. Within you is an enormity of resources, where you will find whatever you are looking for, answers to your every question.”
Robert is also available to have these conversations in private, one-to-one mentoring sessions.

The spirit of Conversations is also captured in Robert’s new book, The Sacred Hub.
